A village idiot at best Ted Fed lacks any intelligence whatsoever which often frustrates everyone he comes to contact with.
Early Life[]
Born and bred in Grasmere Valley, Ted Fed is known ever since a young child for his great lack of intelligence. He was so lacking with brain his parents had to change his last name to match his first name just so he remember who he was called.
Growing up in Grasmere Valley his reputation of being one of the most idiotic person in the world proceeded him. However Ted Fed has a well meaning nature even if he is not able to express it always in the correct manner.

Volume 1[]
He is among those listed as a citizen of Grasmere Valley from Volume 1.
Just when Yasmin and Johann are about to get married, Farmer Roger's goats who along with his other animals are at the ceremony steal the wedding rings and go running off. It is up to Farmer Roger to go after them.Ted Fed and Mrs Parry join in on the ride to go charging around on one of his horses to find the goat and retrieve the rings to give it back to Johann and Yasmin managing to save the day. He and Mrs Parry are also there at the impromptu reception for the wedding at the hotel managing to create even more panic in the pandemonium of the unplanned event.
Volume 2[]
He is among those in the dancing competition for the 24 Hours dance competition, who is partnered up with Sarah Butcher. He is seen signing in with Aggy Nickels and wonders if the champion who keeps on winning Roberta Hubris is going to compete again which this is affirmed. The competition was which partner could stay dancing together without letting go of hands for the longest. Ted Fed and Sarah are disqualified when Ted Fed lets go off Sarah's hands so she can go to the toilet. Ted complains to the judges and Sarah tries to explain why they are out when Tim and Tom acting as security rugby tackle the pair and took them out of the event. The winner ends up being Johann and Yasmin.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas[]
He was among those at the Christmas celebration put together on Christmas day for Joel Hewitt. The day afterwards he is in hospital after eating the chilli. Ted whilst in hospital is seen congratulating Anna Hewitt and Brad Hewitt for the events that happened the day before.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley in Summertime[]
Ted goes on the round the world cruise with the town after they get the money from Aggy Nickels's will which she left for the town to use in the event of her death. During the cruise Ted Fed was among those so troublesome in what he wanted to eat he was directed to his cabin by Detective Stall, so everyone else can have peace and quiet.
Volume 4[]
Ted is giving a job by Calvin Blue to send a love letter to Serena Mason during her watching with her boyfriend Chase Gardiner the last Knatman film in the trilogy at the cinema. Calvin gives Ted a description. Despite this due to his lack of intelligence, he ends up giving the note to Ms Izodel who looks nothing like Serena. This causes for Ms Izodel to try and kiss Calvin only for Calvin to get out of the situation to say Ted Fed was the one who wrote it, leaving him to leave as she kisses Ted Fed!
Ted is among those on the jury for the fictional case that Jack Strawberry has to work in order that he may become a lawyer. The case is whether Marge stole cookies from James Dontos's cookie jar.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas 2[]
When Larry Lothario is running to the church just before Christmas day comes, he is running for his life, Ted Fed takes the wrong end of the stick and he believes he is got a gun and that he is about to attack them.
Volume 5[]
When Knatman comes around Grasmere Valley helping people, Ted Fed claims that he saw Knatman rescue Rick Barchez from committing suicide. In the end it turns out Knatman as dressed by John Strawberry was just a distraction while Mr Grasmere and Mrs Grasmere take over the entire town.
Ted Fed is chosen with Ed Robinson to help research whether Mr Grasmere and Mrs Grasmere really do own their land that they claim as they have managed to take over the town. As they do however the research both are attacked and thrown outside of the town and banished to Elysian Fields, thereby disappearing. They all manage to get out of Elysian Fields with those who were banished which included Daisy. Ted Fed believes he knows the way but known to be the town idiot Ed Robinson says he has no clue and that he knows how to get back. Virtually everyone follows Ed and manage to get captured and place in a net dangling underneath some crocodiles. However Daisy follows Ted Fed and they manage to get to Grasmere Valley without getting caught and meeting up with Houston brothers.
Daisy, Ted Fed and the Houston brothers manage to break into room 3 at the hotel where James Dontos, Anthony Hall, Bessy Hall and Albert Fords are and manages to break them free. They all rush to Midwoodcote to stop Mr and Mrs Grasmere who end up falling in and getting eaten by the crocodiles while those stuck in the net are broken free by everyone in the town who had gathered there.
Volume 6[]
He was called incorrectly by Eileen Ferguson and Lyndsey Ferguson believing it was Ben Obed who they were supposed to call for ransom for his wife Dina Obed that they and Devlin had kidnapped. When Devlin picks up the phone he believes it was Ben Obed but turns out it is Ted Fed who also very confused of the situation, much to his great annoyance.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas 3[]
Ted is among trying to get out of Grasmere Valley before Christmas day, wanting to get away for Christmas and not celebrate it. The road is then closed off by Del, Adam Robinson and Detective Stall due to snow incoming. Everyone in the car, including Ted is livid by this and with Clive Mitchell leading everyone stuck in their cars, get out of the car and begins to run trying to get to the airport. Clive ends up stopping after he realised such an act was futile. This caused a massive pile up on the road of everyone falling on top of each other as a result. Snow then began to fall and with Marge on the top of the pile up it looked like they would never be free. With the help of Bob, Jim and a leaf-blower they all end up being freed.
The town end up spending Christmas in Grasmere Valley at the Hotel due to the snow and Moss decides to organise a snowball fight. Ted Fed joins in but before hand Moss has to explain numerous times before he understands the rules. Ted Fed ends up being taken out during the game by Ted Fed.
Volume 7[]
He gave the rumour to Deborah that Kate Carey bought a house in Grasmere Valley to live.
He is among those in Ryan Carey's troop of volunteers to put on a Puppet show. When before the show, Marge is rolling around and vomiting, Ted Fed thinking it's a good luck routine decides to join in!
Sue Latterbin and Ted Fed are given responsibility to show around President Michael Novak around Grasmere Valley. He is clearly not impressed with the sights he saw and ends up meeting with Sam Bishop with Sue, Ted as well as Mary Bishop and Chez Young in their presence. They were supposed to have a private meeting but in the end Michael in front of them threatens to go to war on Grasmere Valley over the Conservative nature of the town on issues such like abortion. Everyone is shocked and long for Sam not to give in but Sam feeling he has no choice decides there and then to resign from being Prime Minister thereby opening up the position and in his eyes avoid war with the US.
Volume 8[]
When the great fire begins to take a hold of Grasmere Valley, he is seen rushing into the La Vista restaurant shouting fire and after whipping everyone into a frenzy, running straight into the fire!
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas 4[]
He is seen at the town hall meeting. The meeting was an urgent one being arranged as they tried to figure out what to do as Lona Surville's adopted children had been kidnapped and there was a demand for the entire town to sacrifice their Christmas Presents to see them back again. Ted Fed remarked Lona Surville is too old to have babies when Lona was referring to her foster children when they have been taken this causes for Taffy Parry to say how the meeting should have a IQ limit after
Volume 10[]
When Abigail, Ted Fed's love interest is chatted up by Adam Genesis, Larry Lothario remembering his former days when he would do the same to the ladies, ends up brawling with Adam as he views such behaviour with a lady so innocent as Abigail was inappropriate. She had been dancing with Ted Fed previously which may be rumours as to them maybe getting their relationship. Unfortunately soon Adam and Abigail along with Joan Hickey, Marge and Chez Young are murdered and Larry Lothario and Ted Fed are accused of being the Mafias who took them down. When the town vote it is them two who receive the most votes out of the suspects. Both Larry and Ted are put to death for this act even though the two are innocent. However it is soon revealed that they are only playing a game called Mafia and that everyone is still alive.
Volume 12[]
He is mentioned as being moronic when saying it was not surprising Jonelle Dobson didn't feel at home in Grasmere Valley with the likes of them in the town.
Volume 17[]
He is at the cinema to watch Planet Battles when the cinema screen is broken. He however doesn't seem to realise this as he is seen showing his approval of the story even though there was no movie being shown. When Hank Boer needs actors for his improv version of Planet Battles after they can't get to view the film, Ted Fed is among those starring in the performance.
He also said that Mariath Le Briosse, a recluse in the town is a big fat black lady something which turned out to be anything but true.
He is recruited to hold the video camera when Ashley Farreau with Isaac Ipswitch tries his Rugby Tackle challenge in the spirit of the Ice Bucket Challenge to try and raise money for the town. When they first try it with Ashley tackling Elmo Von Pickle, Ted Fed didn't record the footage as he didn't know how to. After being berated by Ashley they eventually manage to get footage. It becomes a craze world wide but no one is donating money causing for Ashley to spend a week in prison for assaulting many people.
Volume 19[]
Ted Fed and Abigail tie the knot much to manys shock that such a sweet girl as Abigail would be with someone as stupid as Ted Fed.
When Patricia Yates believe she has overheard information that makes Gracie Clarendon a loose woman she goes to find anyone to spread the gossip to with Ted Fed being the first person. Originally thinking she meant she was in Loose Women, she soon goes after Tommy Baylor to break the news as she found him too stupid and boring.
Volume 20[]
He is among those at the first annual Grasmere Valley award and is seen laughing at Ashley La Roux's joke which it is noted that only someone as dumb as Ted Fed would dare to laugh at some jokes. Ted ends up winning the Village idiot award during the awards beating Scott and Dean, Marx Gabo, Bennie Bush and Steve Queen.
Volume 21[]
When Gary Robinson is fired as pastor of the church in Gracefield Ted Fed is among those who offers up his services, despite having no credentials whatsoever. Not surprising he was rejected of being the new pastor of the church.

Ted is mentioned being the neighbour of Bob Grempy.
Volume 24[]
He is among those gathered outside of James Dontos's when he is ill wanting to hear what is happening with him. As James Dontos II called for silence after everyone keeps badgering him for question, everyone goes silent except for Ted Fed who kept on talking and asking if death was a permanent position ends up being slapped by Nanny Prescot fed up with him talking which caused him to be silent.
Volume 27[]
Ted Fed is chosen to read who the town voted for in the snap election to which Grasmere Valley is the tipping point as to who will win between Sam Bishop and Tessa Crab. His wife Abigail is there and has to get him to say the name Tessa Crab which confirms she is the winner.
Volume 30[]
He was among those noted by Wilma Timber who gives information on the entire town to Chris Coy that he is the town idiot. This is further establishment during the telethon for Don Kennedy to get him his house as his act is to try and 1+1 which took forever. He also sat next to Marianna Carpenter during the rest of the telethon.
He is also seen at the park when Chris Coy and Marianna Carpenter face Captain Poulet and Granny About to Die as he wonders who will win which Patricia Yates has to put out is a no brainer with Granny About to Die always ion the verge of death. He also wonders who is Doris when Andy Holmes appears using it as one of his bizarre sayings.
Volume 31[]
Ted and Abigail have just recently welcome Alvin Fed into the world.
Ted Fed is seen at the Grasmere Valley High School Mega School reunion set by Mrs Holland at the golf course in Rose Park Heights accompanied by his wife Abigail for some support. He is seen being old stupid self when Barb says Veronica's mother had a coke habit, Ted Fed believes she is referring to coca cola. Ted Fed gets worked up when a former bully of his at school Jotham is there at the reunion and he needs to be calmed down by Abigail. He wants to get back at him which Abigail advice not to. He along with Mr Love, Chris Coy, Damian Burchens, DC Robins and Marianna Carpenter with Aunt Carol, Ruth Burchens and Abigail they discuss as to their memories of Jotham with Marianna thought very glowing things about Jotham while the majority of the others mention how much Jotham was a merciless bully. It turns out however Jotham's life which had once been looking at a Hollywood career was now beyond ruins with his wife Cariala left him and him being at the reunion with his son Edgar whom he is now looking after by himself. Ted is delighted by this but Jotham clearly ashamed by what had happened with his marriage and his career as an actor dried up. He soon ended up running away from the reunion. Ted is also there when it is revealed who Veronica did not exist but in fact had been Poppy Masters which with the help of Mr Love, DC Robins revealed the full truth.
Ted Fed and Abigail are among those who decide to join the crew cleaning up the venue after the Mega School reunion. Ted Fed is gleeful of Jotham's life spiralling down and that it will be exposed while Abigail chastises him for taking such perverse glee. The couple join Daisy when finishing along with the rest of the crew to have a bite to eat at La Vista in the early hours in the morning. Aunt Carol while there makes a noise of a cry which turns out to be Edgar who is there with his father Jotham who to make ends meet and support his son, works as a waiter, needing to bring Edgar to work as no one is able to look after him. Ted Fed makes fun of him and laughs despite Abigail trying to stop him, and Jill Valentine who is there declares she will put this in the paper of Jotham's further downfall into doing such a work. Very distraught and humiliated he drops the item he was about to bring and runs out.
Ten Years of Grasmere Valley[]
Sissy Baptiste remarks she is as healthy as a horse during the ten year celebration of the first Tales of Grasmere Valley book being published. As this takes place, Mrs Parry is seen running to Ted Fed crying over the fact the horse that she Ted with Farmer Roger had used to rescue the wedding rings from Yasmin and Johann's wedding over ten years ago (recorded in the first ever volume) had just dropped dead and she had just heard about it.
Volume 45[]
He is among those at the audience during the last night before the town was supposed to be evicted where they were crowded for a testimony time. When Josiah White and Naomi White reveal they are marriage and Joseph White and Annabel White are also married the crowd all moaned as they said no one was surprise and they wanted hear something more intriguing. However Ted Fed remarked that he was surprised by the news.
The story of Farmer Roger, Ted Fed and Mrs Parry managing to retrieve the wedding rings for Johann and Yasmin's wedding from the goats that took them is retold by Johann at the event.
Volume 50[]
Ed Robinson is seen at the celebration for 50 Volumes of Grasmere Valley at exhibit 5 which is the fake family tree of Mr Grasmere and Mrs Grasmere. He comments how it was so obvious it was fake, but he only came to that realisation after being bumped on the head. It is also mentioned how he lead those to near death once escaping from their clutches when Ted Fed the town idiot managed to led to safety instead.

When Nanny Prescot is trying to subtle figure out a name of a couple on a train, Cassidy Newhart reads out Alvin's name. Nanny Prescot says how she believes Alvin is Ted Fed's son, something which she remarks he needs help with this fact.
Episode 161 The Queue to See the Queen[]
Ted Fed when he ends up in the line in queue for seeing the Queen lying in state, he believes the very long queue is to wait to get into Buck Felton's grocery store. Daisy who cannot believes Ted's foolishness, remarks he should ask his wife Abigail as to what is actually happening.
Episode 166 Poles, Poles, Polls[]
Ted Fed is hired by PK Simmons to take over doing the research from T.J while he is on holiday. PK particularly hired him due to his election experience of reading out the winner of the election between Tessa Crab and Sam Bishop, but it is is noted he thought he was announcing the X Factor winner and PK also knows his reputation of being the town idiot. He sends Ted Fed to get research on the election polls.
Jung Zebede is at the grocery store talking with his good friend and the owner Buck Felton when Buck sees Ted Fed looking at poles. The duo come up to them and after Ted Fed apologises for not being able to ever go to the store previously as he thought the line that took him to the grocery store took him the the Queen lying in state (he doesn't realise the line was for the Queen) he asks a bizarre question as to which pole would win in an election. Buck confused says the best pole is the metal aluminium one. Ted Fed then proceeds to buy all the three poles he has. Jung wonders if Ted Fed has got the wrong end of the pole but Buck remarks to not say anything as it is not every day he get's someone to buy the poles. Ted Fed runs with the poles and gives them to PK Simmons who goes on air as he reads the news given by Ted Fed he realised Ted Fed misunderstood him when he says polls and calls for a commercial break. He screams at him to get him the research on the election polls and quick.
As PK Simmons is talking to Kari Ba Balah on the news, Ted Fed is back with his research on polls. However much to PK Simmons horror as he gets Jason Kowaski, Mod Matta and Dominick Pedilock to stand in front of the camera, he now thinks he is doing an vote with the public at to who is everyone favourite Pole, as they are all polish people which leaves PK Simmons livid by Kari Balah understanding how one can misunderstand people like what happened to her when she wanted her pancakes to be blue instead of merely having the blueberry pancakes.
Episode 201 Splashdown!!![]
Daisy remarks how she was glad she followed Ted Fed back in Volume 5 which meant they avoided the clutches of Mr Grasmere and Mrs Grasmere. Nanny Prescot says this is the best thing Ted Fed have ever done with him being the village idiot.
Episode 211 Snake Loose[]
The time that Ted Fed went to Buck Felton's grocery store and got poles when PK Simmons wanted polls and then afterwards got polish people, is recalled by Nanny Prescot to Bridgette Harrods.
Episode 216 Rubric Cube[]
Nanny Prescot calls Beth the Dispatcher wanting to be interference at the grocery store, hoping for her to stop Stacey Tarquin from going home while Ryan Tarquin is doing a rubric cube which he believes he has to do before his wife came home otherwise his marriage is over. Nanny Prescot suggest to call Stacey up to talk about poles and have Ted Fed not knowing the difference between poles, polls, and Polish people it would take a long time before she went back home. However this never happened.
Episode 227 All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Two Teeth[]
Kevin Davis is walking while Cloee Clunee is running as they greet each other. They soon see Ted Fed outside Club Flamingo on the floor looking for something. Par Daniels soon comes into the situation as well. Ted Fed claims he is looking for two front teeth for Alvin Fed his son as he said he received a message that all he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth. They are confused with Par being dismissive. Soon Ted has an idea and the others intrigued go with him to the dentist to see Mr Ambrose who asks him if he had two front teeth to give him that he could give it back to Alvin. Mr Ambrose does not but the gang with Mr Ambrose and Kate Carey who was there go to Granny About to Die's house wanting two front teeth from her dentures. Cloee hearing Granny About to Die playing All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth by Alvin and the Chipmunks realised that Ted Fed listened to the song, and being him interpreted that his son Alvin wanted two front teeth for Christmas! As Kevin and Cloee and Par are talking about it they end up seeing Abigail who informs them Alvin has just lost his two front teeth after banging his head in the door and is going to Mr Ambrose to try and get some teeth. Kevin finding this very ironic remarks for her to say hi to Mr Ambrose for him as he hadn't seen him in about two hours!
