Her father was murdered, something she wanted to avenge and also eventually got involved with Zeba and his terrorist organisation.
Early Life[]
Born in Elysian Fields, her father was a crock and managed to be murdered by his partner in crime as the pair were both thieves. She has spent her whole life wanting to find out who was responsible for this and this has caused her to have bent up rage and frustration as she wanted to avenge his death and also leads her down a very dark path.

Miss Challis comes to Grasmere Valley and meets Will Harris who is interested about his family and asks questions under the pre-text of being a family historian. He is very much thrilled by this and he soon finds himself falling in love with her. However it turns out that she only wants information from him to track down the person who murdered her father which turns out to be his father.
Volume 33[]
She along with Zeba and Robin Cross decide to take the business block in Midwoodcote hostage and they have Mr Love also part of their plan in a hut with the button to which on their command will blow up the building. Tessa Crab hearing the hostage situation and wanting to improve her reputation and cause for no election to be had that may jeopardise her position she uses Madame Neptune to report that people had been murdered in the block wanting to cause the block to blow up and cause an international incident that would usher in World War III, cause for an election not to take place until from her point of view they won the war and hoping her popularity would improve would remain in power. When this does not transpire the way Tessa wants she visits the block herself. As mentioning of Mr Love having the detonator, this causes for Miss Chalis who sees the possibility of them being blown up no longer wanting to be involved and as a result she becomes among those who are the hostages. Soon with the bravery of Kirkie Kirkland, the hostages manage to run out and Miss Challis leaving for Robin Cross, Zeba and Tessa Crab to be left inside. The button in the hut ended up being pressed by Russell Hopkins tripping over Hailee Truenoe who was part of Tessa's plan after Mr Love was persuaded not to be part of the scheme causing for the business block to blow up seemingly with the four of them inside. However Zeba, Robin Cross and Kirkie Kirkland survive but Tessa Crab is not to be seen. Zeba, Robin Cross and Miss Chalis end up being rounded up and taken to prison.
Volume 34[]
Miss Challis is placed in prison as her role in the event is found out and she is placed in prison along with Robin Cross and Zeba.
