The former head of police in Grasmere Valley who is currently a butcher. He is known for being the dumbest policeman the town if not the world has ever seen but was a beloved fixture in the force until his firing.
Early Life[]
Born in London along with his younger brother Robert Laundry they were born to a rather poor family and couldn't get a lot of things. Robert would get no gifts while Del would due to behaviour as Robert would steal all of Del's toys, tried to sell him with an add and nearly burnt the house down. While Robert was obsessed with material things and soon goes into the criminal scene Del always wanted to protect people and trained to become in the police force even though it is clear Del has very little intelligence.
Del kept trying to become a policeman and eventually after failing the exam a record 12 times manages to finally become a policeman and soon enough moves to Grasmere Valley when a position is open to be the chief of police which he held for number of years.
Del ends up meeting a lady he likes in East London who works at her father's store. The two become an item real quick and soon enough the pair get married and she is referred to as Del's Wife. However Del's Wife does not come to live with him in Grasmere Valley for many years and the fact of their marriage is not known by the town until she comes to live with him.
Despite his lack of intelligence which is clear to many, he is seen as a lovable fixture in the town as he adds to the colour pallet for the town.

Volume 1[]
He is among those listed as a citizen of Grasmere Valley from Volume 1.
Del is first referenced by Johann who threatens to call the police after Wilma Timber barges into Johann's workshop while it is clearly close as he works on a project and is moaning the split up of him and Yasmin.
He is seen chasing after Sheridan, the con man who decided to set up his own indulgences business in order to make money out of people who once seeing Sheridan decides to make a run for it as his con is found out.
When Anne Dontos's son Harvey Dontos, son of the mayor James Dontos was getting engaged with Vera Cullingham she is alarmed by the relationship due to Vera's age and the short length of time they have been together as is her husband. She is seen talking to Del who brought her in as he tries to convince Anne that Vera is a black widow having murdered her previous four husband. She is not sure but is visibly shaken. Vera is at the police station when this conversation happened as she is there to report someone stealing her purse.
Not sure what to think she decided to take a look at Vera Mansion. Her maids, Stephanie Rosebell and Clara Rosebell let her in. There they find Harvey's picture slashed, machete, battle axe and other equipment which demonstrated she definitely is. Del brings Vera to the Dontos house after he takes down notes about Vera's mugging. There he reveals Vera is a black widow with evidence and that Harvey is the next victim is expressed by Anne. Vera says she never loved Harvey and only wanted him for his money and is arrested by Del leaving Harvey is heartbroken.
Volume 2[]
Del has a rivalry with the infamous cake thief Marvelle. He managed to get him placed in prison previously due to his wife's logic who advised. Now out, he is striking again, first stealing cake at the town hall when those there are welcoming back Queen Constance on her diplomatic mission , then at Mrs Parry's house where they were celebrating the half way point of John Strawberry's space mission and the third time Anti-Allergic Apple Altitude conference which was an made conference to have an excuse for ladies to watch Steve Queen in The Great Elope. Del was present at the second venue trying to get Marvelle but failed. However the third time around he succeeds and arrests him. However he also ends up arresting Diva Danielle who was desperate to try and get him arrested, as Mary Bishop and Mrs Parry from the first two events who had their cakes stolen made the comment how she trespassed on their land causing for her much to her shock to be arrested.
Del is on the scene to arrest Gangster Pedro after he tried to kill Ben Obed and the family on orders of Ben Obed's mother Mrs Obed, for him becoming a Christian.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas[]
He is seen arresting Brad Hewitt after he went after Wilma Timber for speaking heartlessly about his son Joel Hewitt who has died of cancer. He eventually let's the cuff's off understanding the situation, but as he leaves he says to Brad and Anna Hewitt reminding them of God's goodness even in such a bad time.
Volume 3[]
Del ends up helping Lexia Xing-Jung when toilet paper is dropped on top of her and her husband Lee Xing-Jung as the duo are tourists in Grasmere Valley from Korea. Del however demands to arrest them for slander and disturbing the peace after they shouted from the guidebook they had found the bozo idiot policeman. Richard Burges however manages to rescue the duo and invite them to his house.
When Lee Xing-Jung and Lexia Xing-Jung go missing, Del is said to be on Safari and Detective Stall is all over it.
Those searching the Xing-Jung after a failed attempt go to Henirich Boss healing revival to try and find them. It turned out he had got his minions MK III, Ivan and Master Lodger to pretend to be immigration to threatening sending them back causing for Henirich to appear to be a saviour as he kidnapped them for part of his healing scam so that people would believe that they had been healed by Henirich. As the likes of Gary Robinson, Daisy, Richard Burges, Jason Maxwell among others are waiting Henirich decides to not have them go out first but for him to get the crowd going to attack them for not being believers so he can get rid of them and continue in his healing fraud and getting everyone to give him money. He manages to get people to go after Gary and the others who were not clapping with him saying they were enemy but Del who was believed to be on a Safari trip after hearing the mishandling of the case being led by Detective Stall from Jane Mabel, appears having found Lee and Lexia as well as manages to get Henirch Boss arrested with his men taking him to prison. Lee and Lexia explain what had happened as well as their desire to stay in the town and live here permanently with James Dontos the Mayor and Sam Bishop the Prime Minister appearing on the scene they allow them to stay and the duo are beyond delighted.
Del also ends bizarrely causing for the brawl between Devon and those who wanted the royal baby to be named after him and Maher Shalal Hash Baz and those who want the baby named after him with doing one big group of circle time, which causes for it to cease amazingly!
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Summer Time[]
He is on the cruise along with the entire town which is going round the world. He is seen stuffing his face with food and drink when after Henry Tatford grabbed Nanny Prescot after she threw his phone away in ocean in order to get him to relax is brought in by Officer Rodrigo and Adam Robinson for his punishment. In the end Del decides to keep him on board but says for him that he needs to relax while on the cruise ship.
He is also kind of responsible for making everyone believe the cruise ship is sinking as he accidentally while having yet another drink of juice spilled some juice on the navigational equipment of Captain Malachi. With him reading it wrong he tells Nanny Prescot which soon spreads the entire cruise that he believes they sinking and causing for great panic. The cruise ship however arrives back in Grasmere Valley safe and sound and soon it is revealed how the mistake was made much to everyone's annoyance.
Volume 4[]
Calvin Blue wonders when he has sent Ted Fed into the cinema to give a love letter to Serena Mason whether call Del to try and fish him out when it took him that long.
He was among those on the jury for the fictional case of whether Marge stole cookie form James Dontos's cookie jar which Jack Strawberry has to win in order to pass the bar.
He with Mike Barnes mange to rescue Mrs Gardiner from being blown up by Mr Gardiner and Chase Gardiner and following this burst through the Town Hall to arrest the two which he does with Dominic.
Zusanna Forster with Ben Forster, Daisy and Janet Herman wanting to find Rachel Sorel to fix the plumbing at Zusanna house go to the police station to try and find her. go to the police station where much to Zusanna horror Del is there. She had wanted Adam Robinson as she does not trust Del to solve the case but he was getting a Dot's cat down from a tree. The town makeshift SWAT team is called to get Rachel as Del with his swat team consisting of Harvey Staddon, Joe Summers, Jason Phoenix, Missy Misty, Adam Genesis,Tony Taylor, Chris Hunter and Morris Young went to Rachel's house with Zusanna and the others. They shouted on the Megaphone but there was no answer and Zusanna ends up wanting to be taken home. They do but as they arrive they see David Forster who tried to fix the problem in the first place and caused the house to flood, swallowed his pride and had Rachel round to help as he is seen shaking her hands as she fixed the problem. Del not realising this orders the SWAT team to fire with their hot water guns as they can't have guns as they are not actually a proper recognised team, causing for the house once again to be flooded much to Zusanna's horror!

Del ends up throwing Isaiah, Ivan, Master Lodger and Gangster Zoz in prison.
Volume 5[]
Del with Detective Stall is seen leading the Knatman supporters of which he is chief, to try and attack Rick Barchez as he doesn't like Knatman and wanted him stop doing all the acts of vigilantism around town as it caused everyone to not going to his piano concert. With his army they track him at Steve Queen house where he goes for refuge hoping they would not attack the guy plays Knatman in the movies. In the end Knatman catches up with Rick Barchez the pair fight before Mrs Parry wanting to shoot at Rick kills Knatman, who turns out to be John Strawberry dressed as Knatman as he planned to distract the town before Mr Grasmere and Mrs Grasmere took over the town.
Volume 6[]
After Mr Gerrow passes away, a Tontinee is set up with those on the list whoever is the long one to survive gets his full estate. Those listed are Lyndsay Ferguson, Eileen Ferguson, Devlin, Adam Robinson, Lulu Taylor, John Red, Dina Obed and Johan. Adam Robinson mentions how he didn't like Mr Gerrow as he called him stupid to which it is noted anyone working under Del would have to be.
When the Tontine set up by Mr Gerrow's will gets out of hand with John Red claiming he someone tried to poison him Del and Detective Stall are on the case and end up arresting Dina Obed. However when he really dies she is in prison and clearly innocent of that crime she is released and charges are dropped. Del with Peter Swansfield, Dina Obed and Detective Stall want to find the real killer. First this means they all go on to the hospital after a tip from Ladonna Palmer making Johan the killer is made, thereby going to the delivery room where his wife is having a baby and arresting him. Soon after it is realised that he is innocent, they are all trying and find Lulu Taylor which ends up for Dina with an embarrassing confrontation with Greg Henderson and Christine Henderson believing Greg to be Lulu's lover.
Del tags along in Judge Fielder's great plan of tracking down those responsible for murdering John Red to try and get their hands on the Tontine which turns out to be Devlin, Lindsey Ferguson and Eileen Ferguson getting them to confess and they are put on prison. Daisy allows her hairdressers for all those involved to talk about their plan. She put glass in the road for the van that the three are in with the kidnapped Dina Obed is in, to break it down near the gas station for Jack Etheridge and Juno try to pretend to try and kill them to get them to confess which takes place. Dina is also rescued by the team.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas 3[]
Del, Adam Robinson and Detective Stall end up closing the road to Largas for fear of a snow storm happening. When those wanting to escape celebrating Christmas hear this they are livid with Clive Mitchell leading the anger at the fact they closed the road due to potential snow. Clive then leads a charge of them trying to run to Largas for the airport before he stopped releasing it was pointless and as a result caused a massive pile up with people behind him falling on top of him before it began to snow and they nearly couldn't get out as the snow was beginning to set. It soon also revealed the airport is closed.
Volume 8[]
Del is among the legion of police and S.W.A.T team that storm the school and shot Jake Petri who was trying to kill everyone in the school.
Volume 9[]
Carolina Fabregas wanting an investigation in regard to the great fir and her son Franco Fabregas at this time to be believed was killed in the fire, requested Del for his help but he remarked his hand is tied.
He does however end up arresting Franco Fabregas who his alive and had been involved in the fire along with the Prime Minister Michael Novak, the Vice Prime Minister Iago Biden, the former Prime Minister Mr Gardiner for him engineering the school massacre with Jake Petri before having him killed by the S.W.A.T team as well as the former Vice Prime Minister Julie who had been involved but Del wasn't sure exactly why he was charging her.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Christmas 4[]
Del is on the case with Adam Robinson when Lona Surville's foster children Serena, Robin, Ben, Mark and Reuben are all kidnapped just before Christmas and the kidnapper wants in return for them being let free all the Christmas presents that the town have. The town end up doing so as they place their presents which are placed in a lorry for Ivan Dontos, Del, Adam Robinson and Widow Margaret to drive to the church to drop off. Widow Margaret with her love for excitement is a long for the ride much to everyone's annoyance. Del and Adam Robinson hide in the bushes hoping to catch the kidnapper while Ivan and Widow Margaret place the gifts in the church before the kidnapper arrives causing for them to jump into the bush to find out who it is.
It turns out it is Robert Laundry who kidnapped the children and he is delighted to get the gifts as he placed it back in the lorry. They students are freed by Del, Adam Robinson, Ivan Dontos and Widow Margaret and it turns out that none other than Robert Laundry is the kidnapper who is in fact Del's brother! Del had never revealed this before as Robert is a crooked and someone he is ashamed of. Robert reveals he did this because he never got a gift at Christmas but Del remarks that Robert was always badly behaved and so didn't get gifts and he would steal Del's gifts when he was younger. But as Robert discovers they had rescued them, the lorry which Ivan didn't put the handbrakes which had the presents placed in them by Robert begins to roll down the hill much to Robert's delight and everyone else's shock, which had the presents of the entire town rolls down the hill and destroyed Maccabee Tagger's house! Robert is spared jail in exchange for community service. As it hurtled down, Robert begins to have a change of heart as he wonders if people will die and with him begging to not go to prison and him pleading to do community service instead which as it is Christmas, Del decides to do that with his brother but Adam complains about such a course of action.
Volume 10[]
Del and Adam Robinson are seen with Morris Young and Chez Young after their car was had crashed with a dangerous car involving five people were trying to run them off the road. They helped them out but the four end up going to the town hall for the big banquet. At the banquet Del is among the detectives in the Mafia case which seems to be taken out citizen of the town. Del is not managing to get the criminals an he is in fact accused of being the Mafia by Carrie Chung even though he is investigating the case. He manages to survive the first vote of he is involved when people believe he is the mafia however when Terry Fords declares he is a detective and that he has worked out that Ms Kelly and Del are part of the Mafia. Ms Kelly admits that she is put also says Del is part of it. He vehemently denies but is no use as the town believe he is and he is ultimately put to death by the town for the believe he was responsible. In reality however Del as is everyone else is fine as they playing the game Mafia as part of the town's games night. He was the story teller until he was taken out of the game as people believed he was the mafia from his position.
The Tales of Grasmere Valley at Eurovision[]
He is among those at the Eurovision when the town are entering in with Tracy Bangles performing with The Berry Sisters being the back up singers. Del is conversing with some in the town about the France's past efforts in Eurovision and failing, clearly not a fan of the nation. When Hanna Clamount ended up in the French entry, Del is rather enraged by this act and expresses that as such. Amanda Hathaway remarks how it is not exactly an outrage as Hanna is in fact born and bred in France.
Volume 12[]
Charlene Moray, seeing how poorly the police department run by Del was doing decided to come over and whip it up to shape. When Georgi Sykes and Jonelle Dobson go to the police over their concern Georgi's black book she uses for investigation has gone missing and Jonelle's estranged husband Karl Dobson as a result knows where she lives, Charlene dismisses them for wasting the police time. However Del and Adam upon hearing their issue set out to investigate despite Charlene's strict warning as to not do so. This is ironic as Jonelle hadn't really had much hope in Del helping out due to him being foolish. Charlene with Detective Lang soon are on the hunt to stop them pursuing this case and wants to lock them up as she finds them wasting the police time.
Adam Robinson, Del, Jonelle Dobson and Georgi Sykes team up to investigate as Charlene Moray and the police department refuse to do so. Having an idea what could be happening they end up stopping Paul Masters getting his car mobbed by some in the town. Georgi ended up explaining to Paul who is distraught what is happening in regards to the book being missing. Georgi mentions that someone is leaking the information from the book and that Paul was one person she investigated looking into the disappearance of Poppy Masters, Paul's daughter to see if it was suspicious much to his great distress. While the four mention they believe they may know who is involved Georgi doesn't mention that the one hired to investigate Paul was his own wife Louise Masters.
Adam and Del investigation takes them to Camilla Debarge who they is question by Adam Robinson and Del as the information that had been leaked from the black book had been disseminated by Camilla's Facebook and which this information had caused great problems in the town. Georgi, Jonelle Dobson, Paul Masters burst in on the investigation as they reveal to them that they know who is behind the whole thing. However Charlene Moray and Detective Lang who didn't even take the theft seriously in the first place also come in and attempt to arrest Del and Adam Robinson for refusing to leave the case alone. Camilla who had been panicking she was about to go jail is relieved and leaves them fighting.
However before they can be taken away, Paul Masters, Georgi Sykes and Jonelle Dobson burst to Camilla Debarge's house saying they know exactly whole stole the book and demands for them to go to them which they all end up up going to the TV studio to Kate Concade the Television producer who when Paul ask as to why she does it, doesn't even deny it and explains her motives. She was while having television programmers block saw the notebook at Club Flamingo and stole it for ideas for TV shows and releasing private information to the town to see how they could react for more ideas of television shows. Kate even texted Karl where Jonelle was after seeing her address in the box and having the details of the anonymous client who was Karl. With Charlene's terrible police skills revealed and that it was clear she did a worse job than Del ever had she makes a number of formal apologies, including to Adam and Del before announcing she was to leave Grasmere Valley and never return. Del is back to running the department.
Volume 13[]
Del and Adam Robinson are called to scene of the Decony household when Sandra Decony died which it appeared she had slipped in the showed and cracked her head. The two are there with Ryan Decony, Sandra's husband who is scene rather sad by losing his wife and his neighbour Andrew Hoskins who came to comfort him. As they are surveying the scene, Del picks up an object he doesn't know what it is but bags it and the two policeman treating this as a crime scene end up arresting Ryan as they believe he is responsible for Sandra's murder.
Both Jack Strawberry and Lacey Brown along with the arresting police officers Del and Adam Robinson faced many abuses at them as their lives were greatly threatened by the public as they take Ryan Decony in for the trial. It's very clear just how unpopular the arrest is with Del in particular being called out for his role in it. This includes Big Mickey who on Bob and Jim radio show, taking Jim's position declares how Del is incompetent. Lacey requires for the two to testify over the matter as Mr Tyler brought the arrest and their conduct into question to which Adam Robinson is seen on the stand explaining what they had done. While that happens Lacey Brown sees something from Del's statement which gets her thinking and causes for her to go out of the court room as Jack Strawberry is cross examining them to find out her hunch from what Del said was correct. The time Del had mentioned but didn't understand was a pregnancy test and in fact Sandra Decony was pregnant!
Despite this revelation that Lacy has discovered, it almost looked like the case was going to be dismissed by Judge Fielder however with some powerful testimony from Emmeline de'Rose and Ben, soon with Ryan attempting to kill Ben, the truth is revealed that he murdered his wife in cold blood so that his double life with Sarah Lexington and their child Lexi Lexington would not be exposed but also that the child he was about to have with Sandra would not be born as she considered the unborn child a burden. Del and Adam Robinson end up handcuffing Ryan and taking him to prison as he cries out for his supporters to get behind him but all after hearing the truth had deserted him.

Volume 17[]
He ends up arresting Ashley Farreau after he tried to raise money in the town by doing his Rugby Tackle Challenge in the similar vain of the Ice Bucket Challenge. While it caught on, no one donated money.
Del managed to let out Franco Fabregas from prison as he wanted to play hide and seek. Unsurprisingly he broke out of prison and he went to Toby the Baker's bakery to try and burn it down as he is jealous of his success. Toby manages to stop the fire and Del manages to arrest him and place him back in prison.
Volume 19[]
Del's Wife finally moves to Grasmere Valley and lives with Del in the town. The town are shocked that Del has in fact is married, something they never knew officially and are so shocked but no one in the town has even bothered to try and find out what her actual name is and as a result she is simply referred to by everyone as Del's Wife.
Adam and Del are brought in to try and solve the mystery where Darrick Nunn is who is driving James Brute's car. They are with Darrick's wife Jane Nunn, James Brute, Patricia Yates and Wilma Timber whom the last two are posing as friends of Jane in return of wanting gossip. Del believes Darrick combusted into thin air showing his lack of intelligence. Walking in to help their investigation is is Charlamane, a conversationalist as she calls herself. Jane and others a dubious by her title but she explains she ended up getting into the car hoping to converse with which she does in her job. When Charlamane mentions Darrick wanted more than talk, Jane faints as she can't handle Darrick's attempts and infidelity again. Patricia and Wilma show their true colours by wanting Charlamane to carry on the story rather than wake up Jane. Charlamane reveals that she said no and got out of the car with Darrick driving James car back to Grasmere Valley which is something Jax confirms as he is back in town and it is around the University for what is assumed ill intent. They all move to the University to stop him.
They try to find him and in the end go after Tommy Baylor as they believe that is Darrick Nunn. They all manage to fall down the stairs to the basement and then try to use the lift to catch Darrick Nunn which is a great mission as they with now Tap Tap Tap and Brandon Estrix added to the mix are part of the entourage trying to find Darrick whom they now believe is after Gracie Clarendon. The eventually find Darrick after getting out of the lift that went to every floor imaginable and pounce him and have a brawl which eventually caused for Gracie Clarendon to order everyone into her dorm room as she heard all the commotion outside her room.
Patricia accuses Gracie of being a loose woman and Gracie is not having any of what Patricia or Wilma had been spreading as she knows what they have said. Patricia says that she had heard Gracie on the phone saying intimate things which proved in her eyes she was an immoral woman. It turns out the phone call Patricia overheard from Gracie was to Tommy Baylor who she in fact had been secretly married to, hence she was no loose women but happily married young lady and Darrick turned out to be rushing to the University to find Gracie who is in fact his illegitimate daughter something he only found out a month ago.
While many things change one thing that doesn't is Del's incompetence much to Adam's annoyance which is expressed throughout the volume.
Del is also among those at the church party and it is said how he did worse than the children at the children's quiz there!
Volume 20[]
Del is at the 1st annual Grasmere Valley awards and is seen reminded Master Lodger who was there from prison for the awards that he is to go back after the show to which he initially wanting the ceremony to keep on going but when the night keeps getting interrupted Master Lodger wonders if he prefers to go back to prison. Del is also seen snoring away during Melvin Humes reading his poem Butterfly.
Tale of Grasmere Valley Going for Gold[]
Del is trying to take Rita Sharpino to prison yet again for her digression when the word of the lost money of 1964 that was swindled in the town is believed to be in the grave. Del who has used Rita while in prison to help out in his cases, ends up agreeing to Rita's demands to drop the charges in return for her cooperation to find the money but only on the condition they find it. She calls for him to drive as fast as he could which up having the car flying in the air before crash landing in the grave yard with the grave of Widow Margaret poking up the car. Del says they should go and look at all the graves with 1964 by seeing them one by one as that is where it is believed the money is. However Rita instead suggest for them look at the log book of all the graves which they do take a picture of the 1964 and then split up with the duo looking to dig up the graves of everyone to find it. Rita is concerned that James Dontos, James Dontos II and Anne Dontos are on the trail but when they are looking at a different log book she seems relieved. However they are closer to the money as the log book is that of all burial ashes and the money turns out to be in an urn labelled for Pastor Lewis Herbert who turns out not to be dead. Henry Jack who stumbled on the urn with money is running with the urn heading to the police station so it can be returned to the town. Pastor Lewis Herbert who wants the money after all these years despite is age runs fast as do many others following the money such as Rita who is doing quite well who looks like she may catch up and Del who is so slow he get's overtaken by Granny About To Die. In the end however Henry succeeds in giving the money to Adam Robinson at the police station who arrests Pastor Lewis who was part of the con with The Boardman all those years ago swindling the money, although it seems unlikely a conviction will happen.
Volume 21[]
When Meg Robinson wonders how Adam Robinson ever became a police officer as he exposes his rather low intellect the narrator reminds the reader how with Del as the police officer such hiring is unsurprising.
Del is seen waddling around trying to arrest Tim Drixall following his life and activities exposed by Adam Robinson.
Volume 23 []
Del and Adam Robinson end up breaking up Candice Priggot's party for the new pastor Kevin Davis when it gets very wild with Rhett Rubio throwing his brother Peter Rubio around being the last straw.
He is also referenced by Daisy when saying Loretta having deductive abilities could quite easily take over Del from his position as it is known he is rather dim-witted.
Del and Adam Robinson are seen letting Peter Rubio go from prison after yet another scuffle between him and Rhett but he demands that if they catch Peter at it again they will be severe consequences.
Volume 26[]
Del tries to help with rescuing those in The Fifth Way cult but fails massively as a mass suicide is conducted by their leader Brother Ezekiel.
When Lois Star reveals all the terrible things happening at the cult she was in The Fifth Way, Del had been among those there at the rally against it and he says he will look after Lois as she will lead them to where the compound is and Del is leading the town and police force to stop the cult. Such a comment doesn't provide Aunt Gretta Bates, Lois's guardian with much hope knowing of Del's terrible record.
Del ends up teaming up with Jack Jackson known for being a good negotiator onto the scene as Lois ends up leading them and the town to the compound but while Daisy and Jack Jackson are very convinced the cult are about to commit mass suicide, Del does not and he believes Brother Ezekiel saying that they are not committing mass suicide at all and it seemed everyone is fine after drinking the cup that is supposed to take them from The Fifth Way to the The Sixth Way. However soon enough people starts dying and Brother Ezekiel had lied as he knew he was killing them as they all started dying. It is very clear Del dramatically messed up in this situation.
Volume 27[]
Del's position of leading the police department dramatically ends after his messing up of the situation with the Fifth Way cult which ended in mass suicide and caused for Charlene from London to fire Del and have in place running the department Jack Jackson who had be key in trying to negotiate with the cult. Del along with his wife only known as Del's Wife are currently butchers however Del's wife feels betrayed by the town and possibly want's revenge.

He is at the 1000th anniversary founding of Grasmere Valley and during the segment Have You Got News for Me? he is mercilessly ridiculed.
He is seen as among those at the 24 hours telethon trying to raise enough money for Don Kennedy to live in his own house instead of his uncle Kevin Kennedy and aunt Eve Kennedy by trying to do stand-up comedy which ended up like a car crash. They don't raise enough money until Chris Coy stands up and speaks about LTOs, and are nearly at the 24th hour of the telethon.

Jill and Jane who used to work with Del in the police station return to Grasmere Valley and hearing that Del was no longer the police chief, they do whatever they can to get Jack Jackson the current one fired and him reinstated.

Janice Krauss remarks that if Jack Jackson doesn't get to trying to free those that have been kidnapped by The Oh No Boys, that she will make sure he has the same fate as Del being a butcher and out of a job.

He is among those seen at the town hall meeting when Mother Morland reveals her plan to move everyone out of the town as a result of them not helping her over the alleged robbery of her place and attack on her daughter-in-law, Sarah Morland. Mother Morland points to Cliff Clifford and Charlene Moray as being corrupt for one of the reasons she refused to go to the police and sees the town as corrupt. Del defends Charlene saying she wasn't corrupt but just stupid.
Harvey Dontos mentions him almost marrying Vera Cullingham during the testimony time where it is believed to be the last night before the town is evicted. He mentions how he is grateful that he avoided marrying her and grateful for his mother Anne Dontos for putting a stop to that with the help of Del.

Fiona Marshall is commented as having the ambition of Tessa Crab but capability of Del. Christine Okeke with her brash nature is commented on that it makes Del's time leading the police force seeing almost like a golden age.

Del and Jack Jackson were called incognito by Joe Cook when Cliff's Edge are planning to hang Jesse Jon Bavaria after a show trial which he managed to hear what was going on. Del wanted to redeem himself with Jack leading jumps on board and get's numerous of agencies to stop the entire corrupt town. As they arrive to the rescue with the forces they say all the town will be arrested for taking the law to their own hands. James Dontos offers a peace offering that however defects from the town and comes to them will have a home in Grasmere Valley to which Giles Summers, Nelle Parsons, Blake Ballingswood and Hannah Ballingswood take up the offer being deemed enemies by the others in the town who are willing to fight to the death for their town. However the town which was like the name suggests on a Cliff's edge falls into the sea with those who stayed with the town all gone as they go into the sea.

At the end of the comic it is revealed that see is indeed a live and well.

However J Peck doesn't really know who the killer is but wants to trap the killer by getting them come and so they can show their guilt. The police in on the plan all hide in J. Peck's bedroom hoping to catch the killer. When Jessica Warren one of the suspects come up he believes he has the killer but Jessica says she isn't and that she only came up to finally find out who was the killer. But soon the killer was to fall into the trap

When Devon is finding it difficult to get real authentic lyrics, PJ Simmons has the idea to go down to the streets to visit real gangs and get some inspiration. Devon thinking the idea is a bad one decides to go the police station to see they can encounter a gang. When the police get a call from a fake distress signal, PJ, Devon and Del the police who on that day is in charge of gang violence come into the scene only to be trapped by the Pied Piper Gang (Mr Tolkland, Little Big John and Prezzi), who over heard what Devon and PJ wanted to find about the gang and wanting to remain a secret they plan to kill the three. Nanny Prescot however who is the only one worried about the two comes in to save the three.
Episode 17 You Drive Me Crazy[]
After Nanny Prescot crashed into Wilma Timber during her retaking her driving test with Wilma Timber, Del brings Nanny Prescot, Aunt Rhoda the driving instructor and Wilma to Nanny Prescot house to get to the bottom of it. It turns out Wilma pushed her feet to the pedal and caused the accident to so the charges were dropped.

Episode 1 Whose Been Sleeping in My Bed?[]
When Michael Posner, the attempted rapist escaped prison, Del uses Rita Sharpino who would often despite being a call girl would help him out when he was stuck on a case. In this instance she is out and around to see if she could entice Michael Posner to appear, be the bait and then Del could arrest him. When Nanny Prescot comes to the scene, Del arrests her thinking she was also a call girl like Rita. Del soon realises he has made a mistake as Nanny Prescot is also on the hunt for Michael Posner. When Gary Robinson turns up however everyone runs to the Prescot house thinking it was Michael Posner. when they realised that a light is on assuming Michael is their raping April Posner, whom he had attempted to do so before. They jump into the bedroom and grab Michael off of April but after the pair pleads it turns out Michael is now a Christian and is married to April! A fact known by Del and Gary Robinson. The only reason why he broke out of jail was he was refused to conjugal visits with April, he escaped on the night he wanted to consummate their marriage which they failed to do. Michael goes back to prison and apologies for what he has done and everyone in shock but accepted the fact that April married Michael.

Adam and Del are drafted in when Zeba holds the bank hostage and demands that all of the Frozen merchandise which had been sweeping the town to be gotten rid of during the process showing he is serious he tries to shoot Champaine but ends up hitting Abdul McGray. In the end when the request is fulfilled, Zeba is immediately arrest by Del and Adam.

When David Kelly announces he is marrying Eva Palmero so he can climb up in the business world, Nanny Prescot goes to Adam and Del to try and stop the marriage on legal grounds which the pair refuse to.
Episode 5 How to Be Accused of Murder[]
Nanny Prescot ends up being accused of murder by The Worst Lawyer Ever and Del while they are at La Vista’s restaurant ready to tuck into a meal. She is arrested and placed in the slammer for being a serial killer connected to 17 murders! Despite the fact none of these cases seemed related including deaths in Tibet, The Worst Lawyer Ever threatens Nanny Prescot that she will ship her off to America in order to face the death penalty as her crimes are so heinous. Devon and the gang try to get her out as well as Narla Davis, a sassy black nurse for Marge who has managed to escape and be there in the Prescots time of need as is the pastor Kevin Davis. Also at the policed station is Jon Stockholm who is looking to free his girlfriend Rita Sharpino who is back in the slammer for prostitution even though she had a deal with Del to be out of jail if she helped him on cases. Rita ends up getting freed again when she tells Del that Nanny Prescot is in fact a killer. After Devon and the gang go to her to plead her to tell the truth she does as the threat of jail no longer looms. Nanny Prescot stands for herself against Del and The Worst Lawyer Ever questioning and the gang come in with Rita telling the truth. It is soon revealed that Del had 17 missing cases he needs to get solved if he wanted to get a Legendary Police Medal for closing all cases. Appalled Nanny Prescot notifies the pair that she will press charges as she manages to be free from jail.
Episode 7 The Rape []
Adam and Del are among those holding Ryan Crawford and Peter P in prison until the trial where the two had been accused of raping Leanne Breslin, Christy Crawford and Trudy Jenkins. It turned out however with the help of Nanny Prescot proving it, that the ladies were all lying.
Episode 14 Jon, Prince, the Revolution and the Purple Bandwagon[]
Jon Tremble wants to get married and have kids but feels that he could never get a date. Nanny Prescot tries to give him advice but due to Prince death they get constant interruptions from others wanting to jump on the Prince bandwagon saying that they really love him. Del is among those who jumps of the bandwagon.
Season 5[]
Episode 1 Wake[]
Del the chief police due to fumbling his task of keeping everyone safe in regards to the ill fated Fifth Way Cult which committed mass suicide, is fired by Charlene Moray and Sam Bishop and Jack Jackson takes his place as chief of police due to his excellent attempts at diffusing the situation. He is livid by this as is his wife.
Season 6[]
Episode 12 The Constant Protestor[]
The gang get a visit from Miss Julie Judy, who lets them know that the University is under hostage by the students who are constantly protesting and wanting Nanny Prescot and the gang to sort it out. The gang arrive with Miss Julie Judy and Bouncy Jess is there to fill them in on the details. They end up going and get attacked with having objects in fire being flung at them by the students. The police Jack Jackson and his wife Christy Jackson come on to the scene as does Del and his wife as he wants to redeem himself after what happened with the great mass suicide with the fifth way. Many think Del will just get in the way. In charge of the protest is Melz Dot Com, Keila Miser and a lady who will never stop protesting known as The Constant Protestor. They have the Principal Magnum as hostage until their demands are met. They manage to get into the Uni and met with the students with the demands. Among those as well involved is Bennie Bush, man about the University known as a womaniser, Johnny Derin who seems to be replacing Bennie in his popularity and reputation by having all his 1000 girlfriends change their name to Derin Girl and then the number they are listed in. All of this makes Bennie jealous. As well as them, Katrina and Serena who are best friends and fierce girls, guarding everyone and Cole Thomas are also there. The gang and those protesting use a meeting room for the negotiation which happens to have a shy, smart student Misty Skies there studying who is mercilessly ridiculed by Johnny Derin saying she is too ugly to ever be one of his girls. Melz Dot Com gives the list to the gang to which the demands are ridiculous and no one wants to relent to the requests. However to get them to stop many try different ways to negotiate such as Del, Miss Julie Judy, Jack Jackson and Nanny Prescot, who tries to point out how much blessed the students had been with God in their life and how more freedoms they had than she ever did. During the intense back and forth Nanny Prescot talks about the Christian discrimination since the CU had been banned and Christians expelled from the Uni and heavily persecuted if found out. Nanny Prescot wants to change this as she points out the hypocrisy of the students who want freedom but not allowing it for Christians although Melz believe she has no means to get this out. Misty reveals she is a Christian and agrees with Nanny Prescot. But Misty also is fed up with the lie she had been living and she reveals she was in fact married to Johnny Derin who never slept with any of the 1000 girls but pretended to be a playboy to so he could be seen as popular, gain the power Bennie Bush had gained and in his power of position make things easier for Christians and getting them to be allowed freely on campus. However Johnny never used his power to do this in the first place and also insulted Misty constantly to keep up with the cover. Johnny’s reputations is ruined as Bennie wants to continue to have the man on campus role, which allowed him despite his lack of intelligence and failing every test he has to remain on campus due to how much enrolment he encourages. Throughout all of this, Principal Magnum who is in the negotiations gets fed up and decides to say no to the students and to get them to behave or he’ll kick them out. He manages to do so and manages to restore order in the uni, except for The Constant Protestor who is still protesting. Bennie Bush automatic place in uni is now greatly under question as are all the others who spearheaded the hostage situation. Also Johnny reveals to Nanny Prescot at the end that he and Misty are working on their marriage now it is out in the open.

Jack Jackson during the hundredth episode when Scott and Dean on their wedding day to Mary and Mary have to try and work out who is who, it turns out he had falsely allowed out Bouncy Jess and Charlene Moray out of prison because Scott Dean Bancroft posing as Robert Bancroft told him to. When there is talk of maybe replacing Jack as chief of police which Del cries he'll take on the job but Nanny Prescot flatly refuses to entertain such an idea.
Episode 108 It's Going Down At Club Flamingo[]
Nanny Prescot and Daisy are chatting away when Del comes into the house. He declares since Jack Jackson has gone away on holiday that he will try to prove himself worthy of being a police chief again by doing a raid at the Club Flamingo which is known for having problems. Nanny Prescot and Daisy think this is a terrible plan especially since he is not a policeman anymore and is now a butcher. He says he'll be doing citizens arrest and that they would accompany him. The two refuse but when he declares he is doing without them, the ladies relent to try and curb his silliness.
They go to the club dressed up as policeman and are very obvious what they are about to do., This gives Wendy Wendall, Daisy's old nemesis who had tried to get Daisy killed because her business was being drained by Daisy talking to the young men in town in how to be a real man (See The Tales of Grasmere Valley and The Death of Daisy) calling for everyone in the club to behave themselves so they don't get arrested. Despite this when the three come in Daisy has an octopus thrown at her head by Melissa Christine who in turn gets it thrown back on Melissa's head. Even so Wendy with Beluah Chicago try their best to make it that nothing unusual is happening. But with Yo Joe riding an actual bull while drinking vodka with his pet rattlesnake in hand, The Real DC looking for her llama that gets thrown around the room and was drunk, a bear running around, and Marx Gabo drinking a drink that was spiked causing for him to let of gas and for the club to burn down, they didn't succeed. PK Simmons reports on the news of the Club being burned down and rejoices as the bear that tormented him was believed to be in the club which burned down. However as Daisy and Nanny Prescot are getting their hair treated at the hairdressers by Kelly Barbour they can see him being chased by a synched bear which is clearly still alive. The duo also commented Jack had cancelled his holiday to keep an eye on the police station.

He is referenced when Jack Jackson being called by Nanny Prescot complains about he hope this wouldn't end up like it did with Del's attempt at raiding Club Flamingo.

Del's wife is still annoyed as to the firing of her husband from being police chief, and she ended up being among those with Bob and Jim leading for a special for their radio show that goes to Nanny Prescot house to vent her hatred for the town due to what had happened to them. Daisy mentions how instead of butchering cases Del's doing his best now being a butcher , and Nanny Prescot remarks how they do not know Del's Wife's actual name which causes her to be even more annoyed. In the end however Nanny Prescot and Daisy manages to get all of them to see the good side of the town and to go with them to the hotel where the celebrations of the ten years since the book began are still taking place.
